RAHMER CELEBRATING 30TH YEAR WITH COMMEMORATIVE DIE-CAST CAR

Fred Rahmer is the first to admit that the past 30 years in auto racing has passed by quickly.
“I still can’t believe it has been this long,” Rahmer said. “I’ve always said I’ve been the luckiest guy on Earth to have done this with great cars and great car owners.”
Rahmer’s career numbers are unprecedented with 489 wins to date and counting.
With the Sprint Car season approaching the midway point in Central Pennsylvania, Rahmer has pushed his sprint car win total to 390, which places him first on the area all-time career win list.
Rahmer, a second generation driver, accumulated 99 career feature wins and seven track championships in Modified stock cars before purchasing a Sprint Car. His 45 career wins in six years of competition at Grandview Speedway is a track record.
Since purchasing a Sprint Car, which he debuted with the United Racing Club in 1985, Rahmer has set the bar in the division.
Some of his notable career highlights:
, Twenty-five track championships at four speedways, including 10 at Lincoln Speedway, seven at Williams Grove Speedway and five at Susquehanna Speedway Park.
, Twenty-eight series championships. In addition to his record 10 Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week titles, Rahmer is the only driver to win the two-year-old Keystone Cup, a series of Sprint Car races held over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
, Ten career World of Outlaws-sanctioned feature wins.
, Twenty career All Star Circuit of Champions victories.
, Eight-time Area Auto Racing News open-cockpit winner, given to the driver he has the most wins in the northeast.
, Three-time Eastern Motorsports Press Association Richie Evans Northeast Driver of the Year recipient.
, All-time feature win record holder at Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway.
Rahmer’s success on the track is a result of his work off. He has innovated several key race car components and works tirelessly during the week to ensure top performance on the weekend.
“I’ve always felt that preparation is the No. 1 key to being a successful race car driver at the speedway,” Rahmer said. “Many times, your results are dictated by why happens at the shop.”
Fred Rahmer is in his second year of racing for car owners Chad and Jenn Clemens. The car carries the No. 51, a number his father used when he raced Modifieds. Rahmer took over the family number when he first started racing.
Fred will be debuting a new color scheme for the Knoxville Nationals in August by running a red colored race car, representing car owners Chad & Jenn Clemens C&S Lawn & Landscaping colors. The car will also commemorate Fred’s 30th year of racing. New 1/18th scale die-cast cars will be available in September, pre-orders will be available shortly on Fred’s website. By pre-ordering you will be in a raffle to win one of Fred Rahmer’s helmets from his Joe Harz racing era.
