Saturday
night, June 16th at Lincoln Speedway marked a moment
in history as an emotional Fred Rahmer drove home victorious for
his 151st win and expressed to the crowd, “I am so
proud to be Lincoln’s winningest driver”……..
A feat
only Rahmer has the privilege of claiming at Lincoln Speedway
came with some of Pennsylvania’s foremost past and present car
owners. The majority of the wins were behind the wheel of the
Apple Chevrolet #12, Hamilton Motorsports #77 and the Joe Harz
Racing #88H. Single wins came with the 50N car in 1987 and the
99 car in 1990. Four additional wins were recorded in the J&S
Fabrication #22, and to date Rahmer has been victorious three
times in the Chad & Jenn Clemens #51.
This kind
of winning achievement only comes from the dedication of driver,
team, car owner and sponsor efforts. This record stands as an
attribute to having outstanding car owners and devoted sponsors.
Fred has
had a rich history behind the wheel of a sprint car at Lincoln
Speedway that dates back two decades. He started in 1986 with
Joe Harz Racing, who raced the entire season at Lincoln
Speedway. The next 5 years saw Fred run occasional races at
Lincoln while making Port Royal & Selingsgrove speedway his home
tracks on Saturday night. When Fred took the seat of the Apple
Chevrolet car, he became a Saturday night regular at Lincoln
Speedway and presently calls Lincoln his home track as a 9-time
point track champion.
His
winning record at Lincoln during that time has been impressive.
A 16-year full time season span, including this year, has seen
him in victory lane 10 times or more for 9 of those years.
Starting in 1997, he won a minimum of 10 features and more for 6
years in a row. That year, he recorded 11 wins, 1998-17 wins,
1999-10 wins, 2000-15 wins, 2001-13 wins and 2002 with 10 wins.
There are
numerous people to thank in marking this historical event of
becoming Lincoln’s winningest driver. We want to send our
heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone that has been
involved in making this a reality.

win.

Sincerely,
Fred & Deb Rahmer
